Jacki Deering
I began my yoga journey in 2000, this was certainly a turning point for me. I was soon addicted to the feeling of wholeness I was experiencing and the practice of yoga became a constant in my life. Teacher training appealed to me early on but I was too busy climbing the corporate ladder.
Over the years I visited several studios enjoying yoga with different teachers all offering their varied styles. I enjoyed them all, but when I rediscovered the Gita style of Hatha yoga I knew It was my time. I needed to share these learnings with my community.
I graduated with my Gold Diploma in 2017 and have not looked back. I believe life is about balance. You do not have to be flexible, vegan, give up coffee, or change anything about yourself to do yoga. The magic just happens and you feel better instantly. Practice leads to a clearer head that makes healthier decisions, after all, we are all a work in progress!
